Finding inspiration in unexpected places, the documentary "14 Peaks: Nothing is Impossible" is a prime example. It follows mountaineer Nirmal "Nims" Purja's audacious goal, named "Project Possible," which aimed to conquer all 14 of the world's 8,000-metre mountains. This feat, previously taking 7 years for the legendary Reinhold Messner, Nims astonishingly achieved in an astounding 189 days.

How did he manage such an incredible feat? Delving deeper, Nims has accomplished astonishing feats like climbing two of the world's tallest peaks back-to-back without sleep and taking on Everest during his "vacation" from a previous role in the special forces. His mission is all about pushing limits, even when they're incredibly high.

Feeling incredibly inspired by this real-life superhero, I felt compelled to pay tribute by painting one of the 14 peaks. But which one should I choose? The decision became crystal clear when I stumbled upon another mind-blowing accomplishment: in 2021, Nims achieved the unbelievable feat of being the first person to conquer K2 in winter without relying on bottled oxygen. Yes, you read that correctly—in winter!

It's no wonder his achievements continue to awe and motivate others.
